’Self-preservation’ is a womenswear collection that encourages contemplation, in how we treat other human-beings much like how we treat our clothing.
We discard, we keep, and we store sometimes even just the memory of people, long after they’ve left us.
As the collection progresses, the harsh quilted plastic sheds itself like a skin, to expose the soft, smocked tulle.
Key themes include transformation, tenderness and vulnerability.
